Just finished this over the last 2 days - entertaining. Last episode was pretty farty.

At least they played the 1 smashing pumpkins song I like. Music selection thru the series was fun. Makes me want to go revisit the SOAD album with 'Lonely Day'

Loved the part where they were hallucinating and playing each other. Very original how they set it up and did it.

He isn't kidding when he says almost all. I cant recall anything specifically, but I always know if I see a24, there is an extremely high likelihood i am going to like whatever it is im watching.

Goodness, such an original movie. Felt like a modern portrayal of a Shakespearean "tragedy". Wife and I both started bawling uncontrollably towards the end. I still felt that movie the next day on and off.

Some other great movies mentioned. Midsommar freaked me out...especially the crazy sex stuff at the end. Haunting in a very bizarre way.

Wife and i liked it, and figured ep 9 was the end. But then really enjoyed 10, and the ending.

Quite deep reflections if you think about the last scene.

It would be a mistake to make another season with these characters i think.

Absolutely. I asked a dude what shoe size he wore to see if he wanted to buy some jordans i was selling and he thought I was going to try to rob him of the shoes he was currently wearing. This was around 2004 before the mass proliferation of online commerce. Coincidentally, he was Asian. That could be a good jumping off point.

To be thematically consistent with this season, I was going to suggest a beef that originated from church stuff which would ultimately reveal the ugly sides of two parishioners - but then I realized this was already covered in There Will Be Blood.

TBF l've never wanted to murder someone over church stuff or maybe Ive been blessed. Sitting church right now actually haha

The trick with the show seems to be to get you to emphasize without making it too depressing.

On second thought, maybe a pissed off pastor of a struggling church might be perfect
