Outside of the ones you have, Nathaniel Ratliff, Wallows, Paramore, Marcus Mumford (lead singer of Mumford and sons), Goose, Japanese breakfast, Manchester Orchestra.
I don't recognize anyone outside of headliners. I'm assuming the headliners are everyone in bold, so many of the previous answers don't really answer your question.
Definitely Manchester Orchestra and Wet Leg. Also Cory Henry (unbelievable jazz/gospel organ player) and the War on Drugs (great songs, might be a little boring in a festival setting though)
Agreed. I've definitely never heard of Zhu or Wallows. I just don't seek out new music the way I used to. It used to be a funny hobby. Now that I'm old it just feels like work.
Loading up some of these recommendations for W1 as well. Had a few on my radar already, but going for the sake of enjoying the weekend and hoping to hear some good acts.
My new favorite song is now Tobe Nwigwe's "Try Jesus"
Here's Cory playing with Snarky Puppy. Dude is amazing, I bet he puts in a great show:
I used to see Snarky Puppy at dive bars in Dallas in the aughts and there were often times more band members on stage than there were people in the crowd. Love that Michael League and the rest became so successful. Amazing talents all over the place.
Yes. Dropped the Dixie after Charlottesville 2017 if I recall correctly. And they came on Hulu last night right after Billy Strings. It was laughable how bad they were comparatively.
edit: I got my virtue signaling date wrong. It was in 2020 after George Floyd.
In a brief statement on its new website, the band states simply: "We want to meet this moment." The new video, "March March," features images of current and historical protests for women's rights, gay rights, environmental causes and Black Lives Matter.

Hope the OP is at Billy Strings as we speak.
Yessir!
Billy Strings was fire. Like her or not, Pink puts on a hell of a show.
Got to see Billy Strings, Marcus Mumford, Wallows, The War on Drugs, Spoon, some of Paramore (really large crowd), Pink, and the Chili Peppers. The only full shows were Billy Strings and Pink. You have to concede parts of some artists if you want good viewing for others.
For those going next weekend, Strings is must see imo. If you're interested in Paramore, Pink or Chili Peppers, get there early (like hours).
Also, if you're trying to decide between Kasey Musgraves and RHCP, go with the Chili Peppers. My wife wanted to see some of Musgraves, and her performance at the Honda stage was drowned out by the Chili Peppers and American Express stage. Chili Peppers were loud.
The sound at these shows is amazing. And most of them really bring it for ACL.
Best decision I made this weekend was bailing on Mumford 30 seconds before they walked onstage and went to Goose knowing nothing about them. Just incredible.
Long-ish post... Bounced around a lot this year since there really wasn't any particular act that I absolutely needed to see. It was a fun way to spend a few days experiencing new music with my teenagers. My thoughts for anyone going W2...for what they're worth from a 40-something yr old.
Definitely liked (some I knew, some I didn't): Manchester Orchestra, Tobe Nwigwe, Spoon, War on Drugs, Goose, Billy Strings (although missed most of him due to a hangry 15-year old), Nathaniel Rateliff
Pleasantly surprised I liked - Pink, Lil Nas X, SZA/The Chicks (split half and half)
Acts that will probably put in my regular rotation now: Muna, Eric Tessmer
Surprisingly fun but shaky performance: Tyla Yaweh (son and I ended up 15' from him when he did a couple songs in the audience. All I can say is kids these days don't know what a mosh pit is. Just happy I didn't pull something jumping around)
Group I had to see but only to check the "now I've seen them" box - Chili Peppers Probably would have rather just watched Chad Smith, Flea, and John Frusciante jam onstage for an hour
