Seeing Isaac play Steven is hysterical. I've never seen him play such a meek role and the British accent makes it even better. It's brilliant.

Took me a second to realize he wasn't able to "judge" him in the museum because he probably had both a good and a bad soul for his two personalities canceling each other out.

I interpreted this slightly differently. Not that one part is good and one is evil, but that it's not sure what it's reading. It didn't cause the scales to balance, it caused them to kind of glitch out. That's why he said "there's chaos in you."

Yeah we're on the same page. I don't think it read as balanced but kept glitching between the two.

How was my post "getting my panties in a wad"? I simply asked very nicely to please be careful with spoilers. Nothing in my post was inflammatory.

If people somehow take my request so harshly and get their panties in a wad, that is your problem. I'm sure there are many others who appreciate the reminder to the comic fanboys to just watch what they type, because it is so easy to provide a spoiler.

I actually really enjoy movies and shows I watch, and absolutely want to go in with as little spoilers as I can. Any information about a character from the comics that hasn't been explicitly stated in the show would constitute as a spoiler to anyone who isn't just being an ass.

I think that's fair. There's more to spoilers then just spoiler tags. If we say "man, I loved it until Character died, that really shocked me" - we're still spoiling a shocking death.

I have to avoid Reddit because you'll see this **** all the time. Directors and writers teasing big reveals in episodes 4 or 5. Stop doing that! They're hyping the show but also giving away half the answers inadvertently.

Hell, they do that in the commercials. Remember when they gave away the big reveal of Wonder Woman in BvS?

Show hasn't really quite sucked me in yet. Isaac is doing very well and The villain premise seems to kind of be like Thanos where I do understand his point of view and I think those are the best kind of villains. It's two different moral/ethical viewpoints that are pretty interesting a la Minority Report.

Thank God Jared Leto wasn't cast as the villain in this, considering how method he goes.

His feet would be a mess.

I know nothing about this character except that I play marvel future revolution, strike force, and have watched future fight so I know enough that the spoiling arguments aren't spoily

That's probably overly complicated for an already complicated character arc. But, it's pretty cool.

Just thought of a way they could do this that would be kind of cool. We get a flashback episode, and he's receiving psychiatric treatment (we know he's in a hospital at some point from the trailer) for his DID. Then the snap happens, and suddenly the voices are gone. He's doing better. He gets released and starts living just as Mark, he's able to hold a relationship, etc. Then the blip, and the voices are back, time starts skipping, etc.

I'm all in for interesting theories, but why would the snap cause his voices to stop?

Because (as the theory goes...) each individual personality is its own being with its own soul. So the "snap" got the alternate personality(ies?) but left Mark. And then the second snap brought him(them) back.

Like I said, don't think that's the case, it's kind of complicated, but would be kind of cool.

I would rather see a show that takes place during the chaos between IW and Endgame.

Like, bring back some of the defenders (not iron fist). Have them deal with the sh*tshow of what went down in the weeks and months immediately after the snap.

Aww, not Character! That was my favorite character.

That's actually a great point. That 5 year span would be perfect for exploration in a series.

Strike force lost me with the Shang-Chi patch. Just annihilated anything I'd built toward for a year+.

I hate that game. if not for discord friends and my boyfriend I'd be very over it.

just finished episode 2...and it was another good one.

Layla is a very welcome addition to the cast / story to spice up to the show.

hopefully the back and forth banter between Steven and Marc has run its course -- it has been a bit much at times.

onto Egypt for episode 3

Loved Episode 3... The ending was a bit confusing to me in terms of how to take the those final remarks. It was posed as a cliffhanger, but I'm not sure i completely get it.

overall, though, I'm loving the show.

Well they teased a third personality. And I saw where Oscar Isaac came out and said there were more than two personalities. So I assume we'll get more info on that in the next episode or two.

Loved the "no fighting in the war room" reference.

I don't know how I feel about the Moon Knight suit as a whole. It looks a little weird (hoods are hard to pull off) IMO, hearing Isaac's regular voice in it is weird, and it does the whole "turn off the mask for a dramatic moment thing, then back on before the action" trope too. Also - he can just get impaled and he's fine? And he has some enhanced strength?

Just kind of weird. It makes sense to make it mystic in origin rather than your standard Batman "make your own suit" thing - but its capabilities getting more and more vague and undefined as we go on.

Love how those chases thru the market, on foot, looked faster, riskier, and awesomer than Teen Space Vespa Squad did in Boba Fett.

Minority here I guess but this episode had a lot of decent parts but failed to mesh and click.

The rooftop chase gave me bad flashbacks to Boba Fett fighting the shield guys while Mulan parkoured along the rooftops. Then there was the resulting knife fight against three baddies but Disney + won't embrace a grittier feel of how nasty and bloody any knife fight will get. Then later they show multiple impalements because the kids will obviously be okay with that, just not the aftermath of a knife fight.

Konshu was cool this episode, especially with the "lean him off the cliff and he will talk" then "my bad". But Konshu distracts me because sometimes I see what may be a structure connecting Konshu's head and body then a close up will show ethereal flows between head and body.

Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke are what mainly keep me watching plus the MCU brand. I only read a few Moon Knight comics back in the day and during that run, his personalities seemed to be that he thought (and maybe had their abilities but it's been a while) that he was Wolverine/SpiderMan/Captain America/ and maybe a 4th.

Layla is a nice badass and fun to watch between her torc becoming a bladed weapon then her being a sniper with a pistol.
