My uncle from Anchorage was staying with us and we watched episode 1. He carries or has a gun nearby most of the time.


It was late at night and I asked if he wanted to watch episode 2 before he walked next door to his AirBnB at 10pm. He said, "hell no! This stuff scares the crap out of me!"

I asked, "how? You have a pistol on you!"

Random thought: I was hoping that the actor who played the Sheriff's son would have been the actor who played Walt in LOST.

I started this show based on this thread. Darn if I'm going to have to buy sub to finish this!! It's really intriguing and very creepy.

Also, is anything worth watching on Epic before I discontinue after watching the first season? Seems like most offerings are a year or two old...tough to keep up with hbo, prime and Netflix I imagine.

My wife and I started watching Britannia. It's pretty good.

Started watching it with the wife because of this thread. Got the epix sub and just finished episode 7. We love it! So good and different than anything out there right now. Sucks to have to wait a week after how the latest episode ended. I'm just worried on how it ends. Shows like this never end great based on personal experience. If epix somehow ties the knot in the season finale with at least some anticipation for another season (not sure if it's continuing) then I think it's one of the better shows we've seen in quite a long time.

The 7th dropped last night. There's three more in this season. New episodes out on Sunday.

We have enjoyed many shows from EPIX & Starz more so than many of the big known channels.

Started watching this. Very good acting and storyline, and I generally do not like horror. Has a Haunting of Hillhouse vibe to it.

Should have known. What a crappy way to end the season. I see that there isn't even a promise to renew it. If that's the case, then i feel that I just wasted my time watching it.

Starts off as a Great show, like 1000 others, with a really awesome set up and ideas...problem is how the writers figure out how to tie everything together and have it make sense.

I watched season one, and it was entertaining, but the ending made me realize they have no idea what else to do...it was a waste of time. Its going nowhere. Ill wait until the series ends so I can find out how they tied it all together., that's what separates a show like Breaking Bad from most of these others.

Just an FYI that this weekend EPIX is free on Dish. I've set my DVR so hopefully I can see the last episodes. (However it seems from this thread they might not be worth it!)

Just finished the last few episodes. Really enjoyed it. I wish the finale would've given us more, but I feel like they do have plenty to go on with in season 2.

This show was very interesting. I find it to be a more entertaining weird Sci Fi show than Outer Range.

I'm worried this is headed the same direction as Lost. The show was good at raising questions but not good at answering many.

I watched the first two episodes last night. It definitely does not have the same sense of suspense like season one. Seems like they're rushing the plot. Will keep on watching though.

We're still enjoying it. Season 2 Episode 5 took a big step forward, finally.

Just caught up with all the episodes. It definitely has gotten better.

I hope they at least resolve what the sign means, and why the children are important.
