I know it's already been said, but the BB and BCS writers are head and shoulders above their peers. I can't even think of any show that comes close to the quality of writing.

I would say that the writers for Succession are a close second...

Heart still racing. Am I the only one that didn't know that was Lalo coming in? First thought was that Howard had hired someone to take care of Saul and Kim - he would never get his hands dirty - especially after he said he always lands on his feet. Next thought was Tyrus - but that would make no sense. Then when Lalo came into view it, I'm thinking, did Howard tip off Lalo to take care of them - but that would also not make sense. Then there was a moment - and it took him a while - that Howard finally realized they were all in trouble.
And when Lalo raised the gun I'm thinking Kim was a goner.

When Howard said his marriage was collapsing, Kim gave Jimmy a look of sincere "what have we done to this broken man"
The question we will never know - if Lalo never shows up, what would've happened? They fess up? They apologize and say they'll stop? Howard hurts them or himself?

Last half of Ozark's final season could not have been much worse.

I wouldn't say they botched it. My initial, gut reaction in the moment wasn't one of satisfaction, but the more I thought and read about the ending over the next day or so, the more I liked it. It could have been more satisfying, but it wasn't necessarily bad. That, and I think the first half of the final season was incredible, with some good stuff in the second half as well (though definitely not as good as the first).
Oh geez. Well that sucks. Well now I'm in no rush to watch it then.

Btw, summer kickoff week is off to a hell of a start so far. And with the reviews I've seen so far of Stranger Things 4 and Top Gun Maverick, we're in for a nice week.

It Just seemed rushed and somewhat predictable for certain characters. Which is a shame because they took the time to set up some incredible chess pieces in every season.

May be the most tragic death in all of BCS/BB.
What's sad is no one will know what truly happened to him, except for Kim, jimmy, Lalo, and probably Mike. Everyone will dismiss as a crazy suicide.

If we see a future Gene scene where Kim is also in it, I still think it's going to be a tombstone.

So Howard's death just wasn't justified. No way he deserved his ending.
Then there is Hank and his partner in BB.
Just seems to me that a few more innocents will bite the bullet in the final half season.

One last look at Howard's meticulousness: Despite her not needing it, insisting that the old lady be seen in a wheelchair during mediation. He even removed one chair from the conference table prior.

You know what's sad, after all howard has been through he was talking about bouncing back, guy never quits and then the unimaginable happens

I'm not going to mince on the timeline because obviously they were pushing it. Camera guy saying he needs just the right amount of time, Saul negotiating with the stand in.
Beautiful how they set up the Lalo nest at the beginning. So now Lalo has the tape for Don Eladio for "proof", I guess that gets buried with him later on. And he's stuck with Hector knowing he's avenging the Salamancas, but no way to communicate it.
