Also, Howard figuring out what they're doing is definitely part of their plan, right?

Geez I don't remember Lalo speaking with him at all. I'm rewatching the series and am in S4 so not far from seeing that part again

I didn't think so at first but they have to be smart enough to know he'd figure it out the more I think about it.

Yea, that's what I took from that also when Jimmy and Kim were discussing after the boxing match

I just rewatched the whole series recently so it's a bit more fresh in my mind.

Also guessing Howard's PI or Mackey stuck a GPS/recorder on Jimmy's car

Hold up, now when Kim and Jimmy are laying down talking in bed after the boxing match, "25" is shown on Kim's clock minutes which is a mirrored effect, signifying that they sleep facing away from one another and therefore Kim doesn't trust jimmy. Deep

1512 was the address of the boxing gym. 1215 was the Magna Carta. The address Chuck screwed up was 1216, "a year after the Magna Carta". Really makes you think…

I thought the boxing scene made a lot of sense.

He got to legally beat Jimmy up, and let him know that he was on to him. It felt very in character for Howard.

And I liked how they made Werner's wife three dimensional in such a short time. Her answering the question showed she was smart, the short convo showed how much she car3 about her husband, her not letting Lalo spoke to her sense of caution and probably still love for Werner, and the fact she had left his work space alone said a lot too. I think they learned a lot from how they underdeveloped Skyler and made her one dimensional, all the female characters since then have been really good.
By the way, looked up the actress - she is Hungarian by birth, but escaped the iron curtain by going to Vienna and then came to the US for acting. So a good choice for the part.

Reverse of how they got it in there?

They got it in there in the tunnel that Mike said was filled with however many hundreds of yards of dirt and capped with a concrete slab.

So the answer still remains…tub of acid.

Gus pitched "Spice Curls" in the meeting with Madrigal/Schuler last season. When he said it again to the customer, it triggered his brain to thinking Lalo might dig into Madrigal/Germany/Werner.

Seems he's laying a trap in the lab. Wouldn't be surprised if Lalo was buried under there all throughout BB.

Was a good episode.

The associate talking to the old people was classic. They nailed it on that.

Kim talking to that old coworker was spot on.

Do we see Bill Burr at some point?

Kim became Saul 10x as fast as Jimmy.

Kim is balls deep in all of this mess. At first she was trying to walk the line. Now shes balls deep,

That was my thought as well. They about to unknowingly get their **** pushed in by Mike or Lalo himself.

I can see Lalo stumbling on them while he's trying to surveil Kim and Jimmy.

Totally agree with H.O. Ward. He had to show his brain and then his ego wanted to actually physically punish Jimmy, but in that legal way. We got another reference from Cliff about his son. Still betting on Badger or Skinny Pete or maybe that one druggie in Jesse's house that wouldn't stop talking and then he made him go buy pizza. The uncut kind.

All I know is Vince and crew really know how to capture scenes creatively. I laugh everytime we get some crazy camera angles, and they keep upping their game. The garage door with Mike hiding was pretty damned cool.

It could be the mentions of Cliff's son and a drug problem are just to set up why he would be so interested in helping Howard, but I agree it feels like they are setting up more than that - it really isn't necessary to imply Cliff would only care about his friend Howard because his son also had a drug issue. Badger's last name is Mayhew, as mentioned by someone else above, but we don't know Skinny Pete's last name - and he appears a bit smarter than other drug characters, has a nicer house than the others, and is shown to be talented in piano. Could be Cliff's son?

Cliff was in a band when young, I doubt he is any stranger to drugs himself.

Yes, not too funny as a reference to BB alone but slightly amusing if you picture an excavator being put in a giant bathtub. It's possible people do some drinking during the episodes and therefore found it funnier than it really is.

You have got to be kidding. She is easily the most developed female character of any show I can think of. She was #2 only to WW.

This has been mentioned already, kinda, but not completely spelled out... The slide rule momento gave Lalo the info he needed to move on to the next step of his investigation.

When he questioned Margarethe, he expressed surprise that she didn't know any of "his boys" and none of them came to his funeral. The slide rule inscription was German for ~ "With love, the boys". At the very end of the (exquisite) scene of the making of the momento, they stuck a sticker on the bottom.

I re-played the open and the scene in Werner's studio. In the open, you couldn't read the sticker, but when Lalo looked at it in the studio, you could just get a glimpse of the company name. "Welker" or something like that. The name isn't important, but the fact that Lalo knows who made it is. He'll go to the maker now and find out who paid to have it made, and then he'll have the name of one of the boys.
