That wasn't just one season. The palatial home scene occured after BB. He made a crap-ton of money from that drug empire.

I assumed that Mike was in the sniper position mainly to protect Gus in case things went sideways with the Nacho confession and the Salamancas didn't believe that Gus wasn't involved. It would have been funny if the Salamancas had their own sniper in the same position.
That's the same impression I had. Nacho followed what I assumed the plan would be to take the heat for the attempt on Lalo to keep Gus & his guys out of it. Mike was there to protect Gus.

Same thing happened to me last weekend.

BB used to air on Sundays, and HBO always airs on Sundays, so I'm just used to Sunday night being tv night.
