I watched this one last night. So great.

One of the greatest things about Mike Richards is the way he changes pitch in his voice when delivering some of his lines. Very underrated.

Would you guys prefer an episodes tournament or a characters tournament?

Vulture has a list of all 169 episodes ranked. Could take the top 128 or so and make it happen.
That list is terrible. It ranks anything low that could be construed as "offensive" by modern day standards.

I've been waiting for some Zoomer generation idiot to catch the Rona, stay home and binge watch all nine seasons of Seinfeld on Netflix, and then put out a call for the cancel culture club (pun intended) to cancel Seinfeld, Larry David, and the rest of the cast for work they did in the 90's.

It would not surprise me at all.

I found it quite annoying. Wanted us all to know how woke he was by pointing out every single little thing that isn't acceptable by today's standards.

Another good one for the zoomers is when Jerry drugs a woman to play with her vintage toy collection.

I love when she asks what's in the turkey that makes you sleepy and Jerry and George say TRYTOPHAN loudly in unison.

"Jerry, those HANDS!"

The double-entendre in that episode is great.

Also, I had the giant Winnebago on the bottom shelf in that episode. It turned out to be a great toy and you could fit a whole squad of G.I. Joes in that thing and turn it into an attack vehicle RV a la "Stripes".

Not sure I can do a top 5, but one of them has to be the Bizarro Jerry - Jerry dates Man Hands, George uses her photo to go the Forbidden City of women, Elaine hangs out with Kevin, Gene, and Feldman, and Kramer, in what i feel is his greatest episode, starts working at Brandt-Leland after using the bathroom there.

Kramer: Breakfast. I gotta be in at Brandt-Leland by 9.
Jerry: Why?
Kramer: Because I'm working there, that's why.
Jerry: How long have I been asleep? What year is it?
Kramer: Look, Jerry, I don't know if you've noticed, but lately I've been drifting aimlessly.
Jerry: Now that you mention it...
Kramer: But I finally realized what's missing in my life. Structure. And at Brandt-Leland, I'm getting things done. And I love the people I'm working with.
Jerry: How much are they paying you?
Kramer: No, no, no. I don't want any pay. I'm doing this just for me.
Jerry: Clearly. So, what do you do down there all day?
Kramer: TCB. You know, taking care of business. I gotta go. I'll see you tonight. Forget my briefcase.
Jerry: Well, what do you got in there?
Kramer: Crackers.

Jerry: All right, how about this? Let's say you're abducted by aliens.
George: Fine.
Jerry: They haul you aboard the mothership, take you back to their planet as a curiosity. Now, would you rather be in their zoo or their circus?
George: I gotta go zoo. I feel like I could set more of my own schedule.
Jerry: In the circus, you get to ride on the train, see the whole planet.
George: I'm wearing a little hat. I'm jumping through fire. Putting their little alien heads in my mouth.
Jerry: At least it's show business.
George: Yeah. But in the zoo, you know, they might put a woman in there with me... to, you know, get me to mate.
Jerry: What if she's got no interest in you?
George: Then I'm pretty much where I am right now. Just got to take a ride on a spaceship.

Elaine: Kevin and his friends are nice people. They do good things. They read.
Jerry: I read.
Elaine: Books, Jerry.
Jerry: Oh. Big deal.

How is this an official Seinfeld thread? The absolute best moment of television, all time, no contest.

Part of this episode's greatness is that it is 100% subtext. There is no direct dialogue about what is going on.

The show gave us the finest tv character ever created, Frank Costanza. Every episode he showed up in was a special treat in a show that was already outstanding. I don't know how any of them kept a straight face when sharing a scene with him. There's some awesome bloopers out there of JLD losing it over and over again in the scene of the gif above that shows how difficult it was.

And he was only in 28 of a possible 180 episodes (the character Frank Costanza was actually in 29 episodes, but he was played by another actor in the first one). That's how memorable Stiller's performances are.

Stiller just had ice water in his veins. Everyone is losing it but him. He knows he could keep this up and have them breaking for the rest of the day.

I found it quite annoying. Wanted us all to know how woke he was by pointing out every single little thing that isn't acceptable by today's standards.
For example, their review of "The Outing" which is probably one of my top 5 episodes. They have it as the 2nd worst episode

Quote:

168. "The Outing" (Season 4). After four seasons spent using George's homophobia as a character flaw, the show wholeheartedly embraces gay panic as a plot device to a nonsensical, largely unfunny degree. The phrase "Not that there's anything wrong with that" ascends to pop-culture permanency after a practical joke played by Elaine causes a college newspaper reporter to mistake George and Jerry as lovers.
