Everything else that went down during the honeymoon, not the least of which being a tragic death? I feel like Shane could "win" Rachel in the end, but still be annoyed and exhausted with how it all went down, and just not be in the mood to talk to strangers at that particular moment. Again, I don't buy it, just saying it's a possibility...

It was interesting at the time I am just a little surprised it had no ramifications on the rest of the plot. kind of random
In my mind it was just initial character and location development. Provides insight into Armond's character and the craziness of a hotel/delicate balance which obviously will come shattering down in later episodes.

HBOMax is probably the most 'worth it' subscription streaming service out there even without White Lotus and Mare of Easttown...so yes.
If Armond lives and isn't caught up criminally in anything that happens in the finale...an easy way to keep him involved is after all the **** hits the fan/someone dies and the craziness sure to come...he simply requests a transfer to a different White Lotus property to get a fresh start elsewhere.

It's without a doubt Olivia, followed closely by Paula. May be a tie.. I wish they were just caricatures, but if you read Twitter, you'd know there are millions of young people as terrible these days.
Shane is at least entertaining with his Douchiness, as I'm sure he all reminds of us of that one dew sher in our lives. Mark and Rachel are the only characters that don't annoy me at all.
Tanya, Nicole, Armond, and Quin are all annoying but I don't hate them.

A TRUE frugal mom would get the free trial and then cancel (but yes it's worth it, even if you don't do that).

I feel for Belinda and am hoping for a good turnout for her. Sweet lady.
In a way for Armand if that's possible. But only mildly.

Pretty solid finale and I'm fairly satisfied with how everything was tied up, with one minor gripe that we never saw what happened with Kai.
One thing though...there's no way someone could be flying out of the country (essentially) one day after having committed manslaughter, right?
