She still has the yearbook he signed
Apparently he had a great and kind family

Well, for starters James really wanted Stiller for KoQ and begged him to come out of retirement. Then he basically hired everyone in Stiller's family to be in KoQ so they could share in the experience. Even Ben Stiller made a couple of cameos.TJaggie14 said:Could you expand on KJ and Jerry Stiller's relationship? All I could find was KJ posted a touching tribute to Jerry on his instagram after Jerry passed. I know they acted together in King of Queens. I was just curious if there was more to the story I am missing.EclipseAg said:Everything I've read about KJ seems to match your experience. He is a family guy, a church-going Catholic and very loyal to his coworkers. His relationship with Jerry Stiller was heart-warming.TXAG 05 said:
Met Kevin James once in New Braunfels. Really nice guy, took the time to talk to everyone that came up to him.
Same. He was the first person that came to mind.abileneag09 said:
I don't know of any specific stories, but everything I hear about Gary Sinise seems positive. It's great that he does so much for the military.

My kids asked him for an autograph in a restaurant. He followed them back to our table, pulled up a chair, signed the autographs, and talked with us for 15 min, while he waited for the rest of his group to arrive. A true gentleman.

Hugh Jackman should have been mentioned by now. At least, he reportedly has a reputation as one of the nicest celebrities.
I don't know if that's true, but the guy is definitely talented and always seems to be so damn positive about life and excited to meet fans.

Hugh Jackman is a good one. Jack Black and Tom Hiddleston also seem like really genuine guys in their own ways as well - though I don't know of any personal accounts.
Can confirm. Met him when I was in my early 20s. Asked for his autograph and he told me no. But...he sat and talked with me for a good 5 minutes and was really cool. Unfortunately, I don't remember a whole lot from our conversation since I was quite inebriated.62strat said:

He was pretty cool the only time I had occasion to hang out w/ him, which was after their acoustic show at The Tavern on West Gray in Houston in ~2005 I think. One of their first shows really (post Layne), and there weren't that many people there. My brother and I may or may not have partaken in a little toke w/ him and a couple of the other dudes.62strat said:

I saw them (AIC) acoustic at Antone's in Austin, but it sold out the day of on sale... hardly an empty show. It was 2007.
I lived in Houston during 00s and I don't remember him doing an acoustic show there. Must have missed my radar. I've seen him/AIC 8-9 times.
oh ok, that was solo before they reformed. I was gonna say, I've yet to see post-Layne AIC where it didn't sell out, unless it was a festival. 4-5 times now here in Denver in 10 years plus the austin one, sold out every show.Echoes97 said:62strat said:was that AIC or solo?Echoes97 said:He was pretty cool the only time I had occasion to hang out w/ him, which was after their acoustic show at The Tavern on West Gray in Houston in ~2005 I think.
