How long do you want to ignore this user?
So my wife is out of town and suggested this show to me. It's an interesting story so far (I'm only a few episodes into), but something about it seems cheesy. I can't put my finger on it. My daughter (college age) noticed it right away. Like within the first 5 minutes of the pilot. Then I google it, and I find out it's an NBC show. Then it all makes sense.

What is it about over the air network television shows that make them a notch below cable or (typical) Netflix shows?

Nothing to add other than to post link about this show previously. I watched the first episode and liked it, but it seemed like they blew their wad, and I wondered where they could go with it. Not sure if I will keep watching based on everyone's comment.

What I don't understand is it is simultaneously streaming on Peacock. If you're showing it on your subscription service, why also license it to Netflix?

I'm sure they get extra money either way so why not

I would not have watched it or known about it if it was only on Peacock.

Yep, saw this as the #1 watched programming over the weekend so figured I'd give it a try.

Couldn't make it through the first episode. You're right, it's cheesy. The writing, the acting, all of it. You can tell it was there to fill a gap in NBC's schedule vs. a network whose strategy is focused on providing premium content, like HBO or more recently AMC. I won't be watching it again
