The biggest crime of this whole season is the wasting of John C. McGinley.

I was thrilled to hear about his casting for the final season. But every single scene he's had has been unpleasant and not even remotely funny. Honestly, I kinda wish the show had ended unceremoniously after the last season.

Yeah watching them try to cram the "cops bad" theme at least a little bit into every episode is ham fisted and it just sucks.

That's a bit simple for what they're going for. You mean the police union where the head of the union constantly tries to get all the dirty cops off is bad...

...and I am not now, nor will I ever, support police unions.

It doesn't look like they will have a Halloween special either - who is the ultimate champion? Boyle never won once. Was hoping to get one last final "heist".

I couldn't tell if the final scene was trying to end the show on a happy note OR tease annual Heist episodes.

Great finale. A worthy send-off.

I was proud of myself because I called Jake leaving the force to be a SAHD being the finale a few seasons ago (but I don't think it was very shocking).

Wish we would've had a Pontiac Bandit appearance.

Loved the finale.

Pretty much every other episode was "meh" to "terrible" so this finale was very bittersweet. It may be the only episode from this season I ever rewatch.
