They're that good? Do you find them more comfortable than most other Nikes?
Much better than Jordans and Dunks, which is what I mostly wear. I always by a half size up in SBs, so I should mention that. In AJ1s I wear a 12, Air Max a 12.5, and in SBs I wear a 13.
On the RMs, I like the cusion/sole. I think they have a pretty solid air unit and insole going. The collar cushioning is really nice too. Most of all I like the height of them and how chopped they are. Easy to wear with pants or shorts, no worries.
Aesthetically, I like the minimalistic style. I love AJ4s, but this is a modern take that's easier to wear.
I also have these same ones from this Weartesters video. I love them and they are probably my most worn shoe right now.

I'm usually a stretch lace guy but from what I read, these SB's have internal elastic straps. Will these elastic straps take the place of stretchy laces?
They really just hold the tongue in place and don't do anything to keep the shoe itself tight

SB's do have a this "protrusion" in the heel, but honestly it's just a weird pic. They fit fine.

Is the eBay authentication legit? Looking at a pair that are a little steep so I don't want to get scammed/burned
as legit as it can be. Just like any other service, if the fakes are that good, even the authenticators can miss it. Some fakes are that good...but if they're that good, they'll probably be missed down the line too. And, if they're that good....who cares, they're all constructed the same way. I may have just overpaid for a very specific pair of shoes off eBay. I just got the notification they have been shipped off for authentication so fingers crossed they are legit. Larry Johnson Converse Aero Jam Mids in the Home Charlotte colorway (2014 rerelease)
It's not everyone's cup of tea, but they are my personal grails. The shoes I pined over ever since I first saw them as a 10 year old in 1993. My parents would never have bought me such extravagant and pricey shoes even if they could have afforded to. I thought there were the coolest shoes I had ever seen and wanted them so badly. If I had those shoes and the Charlotte Hornets Starter Jacket I knew I would have been the coolest kid in town.
Why the Hornets? No idea. I wasn't even a huge basketball fan and I lived in Texas. But for some reason in my school that was the cool thing to have.

The Charlotte Hornets colors had everyone in a chokehold at the time. Those colors were everywhere in the early 90s.
