I am not sure what you mean here. The actors playing the parts were gay, but Martin, Niles and Bulldog weren't gay in the show. The joke of Gil's character was that he was hiding in the closet.Carlo4 said:
The show tackled homosexuality throughout the series, which was groundbreaking in the 1990s. Most men on the show are gay, including Martin, Niles, Bulldog, and Gil. It was also presented in a way that wasn't shocking at all and, in fact, just normal, everyday thing... very similar to how *****t's Creek uses it on the show.

This is great and all, but when are we getting the Space Fraser reboot?

I don't think Bulldog would be able to be a character nowadays.
I think it would still fly.PooDoo said:DubFalls said:

I dont think the tossed salad and scrambled eggs theme song would be appropriate either.
Niles played the piano in every scene?
True. I always wondered how well known GK Chesterton was for a sitcom to make a running joke of having the uptight anglophile named "Gil Chesterton."Quote:

Son would would be 30 ish by now, so there is that to play off of. Could even be married with kid(s)
Chicago setting can be interesting, if they keep to the end of the prior series.
DYK: Lisa Kudrow was originally hired for the Roz role, but was replaced before shooting began.
Kind of where I was going earlier. I just don't see this being successful. They will have to dumb it down and sterilize it.The Debt said:
Show would be cancelled in today's culture. "High brow" humor today is nonexistent because it cant be observational or even smart word play because words hurt.

Here's the thing. If it's good, we'll enjoy it. If it's not, we don't watch and it gets cancelled.SJEAg said:
Hopefully goes better than the Mad About You attempt. Original show wasn't Frasier in quality by any definition, but the continuation comparable to this idea was apparently pretty bad.
Fun fact - they wanted to bring back Kirstie Alley as Saavik for this scene with Kelsey Grammer but she wasn't available when they filmed the episode.israeliag said:
