Bought a '65 or '66 Gibson Skylark. Been playing around with 5w amps. I have a Custom '57 Fender Champ Reissue and a Fender '68 Custom Pro Vibro Champ.

This Skylark handels pedals the best out of the three. Really fun to play and amazing punch on every note.

How much did that run you if you don't mind me asking?

I've read good things about the Monoprice tube amp. I haven't pulled the trigger on another amp since I decided on the Spark2 a few months ago.

Price tag says $799, so I bet he got them down to $500.

I play every Sunday at church. Nothing fancy, just basic chords alongside piano and sometimes percussion. Playing a Taylor 514ce I bought from a good Ag on here, and so far I've just been plugged straight into the sound system. I know very little about acoustic guitars and next to nothing about amplification of acoustic instruments.

Wish I could help. I do solo acoustic stuff, but I'm straight into the PA with my guitar. Don't even use a DI box.

Based on my little knowledge of acoustic amplification, this guy seems to think that fishman is a great product for live gigs. All the people in the comment section have the same opinion and think it's great. The only negative review is that there is no onboard guitar tuner.

He also recommends purchasing an LRBaggs pedal.

What's that mark on the pick guard?

Old sticker residue?

Love all the checking and pickguard wear. Some of the heavy relics are a bit too much. This is the right amount.

Yeah, I really like Journeyman relicing. It's similar to my Strat's level.

How's the neck? Some are sanded down while others aren't touched on the Journeyman relics.

I've got the monoprice tube amp, picked it up about 2 months ago when it was on a (small) sale. It definitely satisfies that tube amp need and it's pretty versatile. Definitely more of a british tone to it, but it takes pedals well so I can get whatever sound I want out of it with some help. Has a 1W setting, which i leave it on most of the time and it has a FX loop which is nice. I've got a noise reducer on there right now to kill most of that 60 cycle hum so it doesn't bug me while i'm working.

definitely not as nice as the mesa/boogie I used to have, but this amp cost literally 10% as much money.

Kickin myself right now. Pretty sure this guitar was up on marketplace for $1800 earlier this week in Franklin. Didn't particularly trust it or have the time to drive to Franklin. Guess I should have pulled the trigger.
