Bah... Keith Urban would deal directly with one of the Master Builders at Fender. No reason to get a "tele style" guitar from someone. Get the real thing from Fender.

John Mayer, who had his own Fender signature model, talked him into going to PRS.

He seems like a good opinion to consider.

Meh... i'm a purist. I want my Fender!

An S-style guitar with that PRS headstock is a "nope" from me. But hey, i will admit I'm a Fender fanboy, just as much as all the PRS fanboys on this site.

I'm a purist... nitro lacquer or GTFO!

I've probably owned more Strats in my life than any other model of guitar, and my current one is perfect.

ETA: Also, I currently own 5 different brands of guitars. I owned a couple PRS's a couple years back, but just didn't care for their sound.

Opened up the Rocksmith app to remind myself why I didn't get it before. Loved the Xbox version when that was a thing. I was immediately reminded they're insane. They want $20 a month for a subscription. Really cool concept, but it ain't worth that.

I read an article recently saying that the guitar rhythm games are about to make a comeback. My roommates and I used to play so much Guitar Hero in our apartment in college.

Rocksmith was great because it was Guitar Hero with an actual guitar. I wish they'd just do a one time purchase instead of this subscription nonsense.

One of the more memorable Christmas's at our house was the year we got Guitar Hero for the boys. I'm pretty sure I found the last one in town.

We all played the crud out of that thing.

It was a fun game that we enjoyed for a long time and one of the boys even bought some of the band-specific games.

Rock band saves marriages!

Also, we had numerous rock band parties my senior year in high school. It was an era, I'd love for it to come back

I have a pack of them that I haven't put on my Strat yet. I definitely paid more for them than that! If I knew I liked them, I would take advantage of that deal. If I had more energy right now, I'd go take apart one of my guitars to replace one pot on it and then throw those boomers on it to try them. But I'm feeling really lazy today.

After selling my PRS to StoutAg, I turned around and bought me a Wolfgang Standard in matte army drab. Came in Today! It needs a setup pretty bad, I lowered the bridge, but it still needs some neck relief and ntonation adjustments. But the roasted maple neck is very nice and super easy to play and these Wolfgang pickups are the real deal. It is very comfortable to hold and play. Solid guitar for the price.
