Just got notified that my Spark 2 has shipped!!.....Christmas is coming early boys!

As of 6:11 my guitar had left the black hole hub that is Houston. Hopefully better luck this time.

I forgot to do a quick review on my Spark 2. I guess I have had it for a couple of weeks now, and I have a few comments:
One thing that I have found annoying with my Spark 2 amp is sometimes it doesn't load some tones that I had saved. I'm not sure why, but this one tone I downloaded to play 46&2 just wouldn't load at all. It used to on my Spark 40, but won't on the Spark 2. I deleted it last night and redownloaded it, but it's not working. I wonder if it has some amp/pedal in the tone that isn't on Spark 2 that's on the Spark 40.
My only other issue may be with my phone, but I can only connect the Spark App to select the tones, and it won't connect to play bluetooth for any of the backing tracks. It used to be a bit l**** with the 40, but I can't connect at all with the Spark 2. But, my phone has way too many bluetooth connections and my office where my equipment is has a crapton of equipment.
One thing I really like about the Spark 2 is that it automatically shuts off. I imagine part of the reason my Spark 40 cuts off and stops playing loud is because of the output circuit overheating (I read the fix was to remove a chip and put some thermal grease and it would work...but I haven't tried that yet) - but by cutting the Spark2 off whenever nothing is going on for a certain amount of time, it's great. I had a bad habit of leaving the 40 on after I was playing after a few bourbons and thought "Crap, I need to get to bed" only to wake up and "Doh, I forgot to turn the amp off!"
Lastly, it gets really loud. Which is awesome, but something I'll rarely use because it annoys the crap out of my wife. But it's good to know that I have that option (to turn it up and simultaneously annoy my wife).

Maybe you need an app update on your phone and maybe the Spark 2 needs a firmware update right out of the box?
I could definitely see that being a firmware issue or something.

That rosewood board looks gorgeous. Is that the darkest board you have? Nothing looks better on a guitar than a very dark rosewood fretboard, imo.

What about ebony?
I prefer dark rosewood because of the grain.
Think it's a tie with the purple, but all four PRS guitars are pretty dark. I think the Epiphone Les Paul is the only one I have that's light. At least among the electrics.
I also really dig the gold accents with the green. Gold usually seems gaudy on guitars to me, but it plays well with green.

Nice. I'll give that to PRS guitars... their boards and necks are second to none. I've just never gelled with their sound. You have to go Custom Shop with Fender to come close the PRS necks, and I don't think Gibson offers a modern guitar that matches the necks of PRS.

They're actually all different, but yes. I mean, she thinks I'm an idiot, but none of it has really come out of our bank account so she just laughs at me.
I guess the good news about all of your guitars looking the same is that it may make it tougher for your wife to figure out you got a new one. With my new Strat, I see her eyeing it sometimes, but the was no comment. Unlike my LP that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Not from scratch, but I've had two Warmoth LPs that I put together. It was cool picking everything myself, but if you ever sell it's a blood bath on price even with the quality of their bodies and necks.

Nobody here is cutting down one each of mahogany, ash, maple, and alder and milling it down to carve a body and neck.
There might be someone winding their own pickups. I know a guy who does it using an old sewing machine.
