If it's a really good price, then it could possibly be a good player's grade guitar. However, neck repairs can be tricky. Want to make sure it was done professionally.

One says done professional, one says it comes with the ticket from the repair. From what I've seen for LP Standards that are comparable both are ~$500-$700 cheaper than normal.

To me, if it shows up terrible after claims of repair that qualifies for being in a different condition, but I do t know if that's how it actually works.

I'm not super familiar with neck brake repairs. I would need to research what kind of discount is standard.

Man... depends on the year. Each of those models have varied across recent years. Also, many people are looking for different things in a less Paul, so it's so subjective.

The Trad Pros I've seen with the crazy push/pull pots are intriguing, but I'm not sure how much I'd actually use that and I also may want to swap pups and those things would definitely necessitate me taking it in to swap them.

Push/pull wiring isn't that hard. You just need a 4c pickup.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the 59 Classic pickups that Gibson releases. I much prefer the burstbucker line, from their production pickups.

For all my guitars, I replace the electronics with an Emerson kit, anyways. I also prefer reliced pickups because I like low output, unpotted, open pickups.

The Trad seems to be the better deal, or is providing the most discount. But again, I am not familiar with where a neck break should price a guitar. I would never buy one with a neck break, unless it was a 50s or 60s les Paul at a Player's grade price.

I've seen the push/pull wiring, but these are wired with every single pot being a push/pull for either split coils, which coil, and in/out of phase.

Nope, it was actually pretty quiet when I went in. Staff was super friendly and happy to pull down whatever guitar you wanted.

No. I couldn't get comfortable with that idea on an instrument I hadn't seen in person. Found this one on reverb and was able to buy it direct from the shop which got rid of sales tax and they didn't charge shipping buying from them.

I've flirted with the idea of going completely different than everything I've ever owned and buying this thing.

I also got a notification that my delivery date had been pushed up to tomorrow. That's always fun.

I sent it to my cousin and brother. My cousin was driving in Florida with his wife and not able to see the deal until it was gone. He was upset. He had been looking for a Rhoads style guitar and that one is close and was on sale.

His wife was glad he missed it.
