Yeah, I was like WTF...

I did call that the snekes were somehow psychic/telepathic, telling everybody what to do to birth another snek and that everyone was incorrectly assuming it was Sol.

That was what yall got from the ending right???? Telepathic, rapid growing, flying, snek monsters -vs- little abandoned children and abandoned Mysantic followers -vs- new athiest Arc - for season 2??

IDK if I'll watch next season IMO - got way too weird in the last two episodes.

There is no telling what's going on, but I do have some thoughts/questions

• The mithraic built the necromancers using "directions" they claim to have come from Sol
• There are, or were, humanoids on the planet
• What was the guy in the polygon box? Didn't it seem like whatever was coming out of the mouth was the same as the white blood in the androids? When Mother took the mask off that corpse did the skull look kind of metallic to anyone else?
• The giant "temple" also was the same shape as the creature box.
• Possible that somehow the creatures on the planet sent out stuff that made its way to Earth and started the faith of Sol?
• I don't know if it was a dormant telepathic snake that is "talking" to the humans. I think it's some weird sentient AI type thing...how else could it corrupt the virtual system Mother plugged into and made her pregnant?
• So, is the new snake some kind of hybrid cyborg kind of thing?

Anyone start season 2? Curious to hear about it

I'm gonna wait to binge this season. Did that with season 1, and I could tell it would have been way worse waiting a week between each ep and forget some of the plot points.

I watched the first two. They dump you right back in and the pace seems faster this season (not sure that's a good thing). So it was kind of confusing. I watched a season 1 recap and I was still a bit confused.

But that said, I love this show. It is so ****ing weird and ambitious sci-fi. And I was pretty surprised in episode 2 we are already getting Giant Flying Bat**** Crazy Snake Monster

Glad to hear it's enjoyable. I'm definitely going to catch up to it at some point soon. I may agree with the binging strategy of Israeliag

Caught up on the first 5 episodes of season 2 over the weekend. Seems to be getting stronger as the season goes on. This may be my favorite type of sci fi. Lots of nightmare fuel.

The CGI is a bit noticeable, though. They could use a budget increase for that.

I am 100% certain that I have no idea what is going on but I am also 100% certain I am enjoying it!

This is the weirdest show I actually love.

Just finished season 2 and at least some of the pieces are falling into place. I was getting worried that this was just aimless oddness like Lost, but with this season it looks like there's a plan behind it all. Really enjoying it
