Karate Kid both 1 & 2 my 9 yr old loves.

He also liked Rockys 3 & 4, but not as much.

I'm pretty sure I remember Airplane being rated R?

Same with boobs. Jaws and Airplane! both have boobs and both are PG.

Jaws and Airplane! were both made before PG-13 existed.

Captains Courageous (1937) is still very good and has lots of seafaring thrills with a positive lesson learned for both sons and fathers. Last I saw it was on TCM.
