The drivel that's on Nickelodeon these days is driving me crazy (looking at you Loud House). We watched Old Yeller the other night on Disney+ and we all loved it. Anyone have suggestions for other movies and shows that are entertaining for young boys but won't make me want to break the tv?

Currently in the rotation:
Andy Griffith Show
Lone Star Law
Sandlot (1 million times)
Other 90s sports movies.

What others do your kids (and you) love?

My boys loved The Goonies and National Treasure movies at that age. Actually, they are 18 and 21 now and still love both.

My 10 year old has enjoyed episodes of Leave it to Beaver and Brady Bunch.

Unfortunately LitB has left the free rotation of prime I believe now.

Regarding The Goonies (and pretty much any 80s movie). The language they allowed in a PG movie back then is much stronger than what they allow now. It's easily PG-13 now because of the language.

Still one of my all time favorite movies, though.
