The only exception, other than real Texan actors like Tommy Lee Jones, would be Bradley Cooper in American Sniper. He wasn't perfect, but for a guy from Philadelphia, his accent was pretty damn solid.

Probably the worst American accent I can recall is that dude who played Jax on Sons of Anarchy. So awful.

Angela Kinsey from The Office was talking about this scene today on the Office Ladies Podcast and how bad his Texas accent was. And how they'd make fun of it, like we all do.

She tried out for the Allie Lauter part. She was a cheerleader in high school and from Texas. Apparently they didn't buy it for the part.

At a minimum there's east, west, and central Texas accents.

An common marker of west Texas accents is making four into a 2 syllable word.
