why on earth would you assume its awful? (That's the criteria, not "I wasnt intrrested")dreyOO said:
Since Tremors and Joe Dirt are already taken...
I'll say Hot Fuzz. That movie is hysterical and I avoided for years before my brother talked me into it.
The bolded part of your statement reminds me of Jan de Bont, a cinematographer who in 1994 directed a movie that was a huge hit - Speed. Lunatic plants bomb on a bus, bomb is armed once the bus reaches a certain speed, and if bus drops below that speed, boom. Yet I really liked that movie.Deputy Travis Junior said:
John Wick should have been terrible. A revenge flick about a dead puppy that's hyper frenetic, yet stars a 50 year old Keanu Reeves in a role that's wooden and awkward even for him, and the whole thing was directed by a stunt man who'd never directed a movie before??

It's also only sort of accurate. Stahelski was a second unit director on some huge films before John Wick as well as choreographing stunt teams.Cinco Ranch Aggie said:The bolded part of your statement reminds me of Jan de Bont, a cinematographer who in 1994 directed a movie that was a huge hit - Speed. I felt like you could feel like the lack of Bay in the action sequences that weren't quite on the same level, but the story and character development were greatly improved. They did a really good job keeping it a high end action movie while clearly acknowledging that the Boys weren't 25 anymore.rhutton125 said:
Watched Bad Boys 3 last night. A sequel after 15 years with an old, washed-up comedian and a guy who hadn't had a hit in over a decade, and yet I thought it was better than either of the originals. (Fight me)
It's amazing what a sense of pacing can do, both for the comedy and the the general plotting of the film. Michael Bay would just let moments and arguments go awkwardly long at times.
I was bored with this and turned it off. Maybe I wasn't in the right mood.boboguitar said:

Yeah the plot sounds odd...
But a lot of people don't know that The wizard of Os series was the Harry Potter of its day, among the most popular books of the time. The movie was greatly anticipated. The book had sold one million copies before the movie came out. and there had already been a broadway play.
Rango is one of the strangest animated movies ever made. Right up there with Fritz the Cat, Wizards, Heavy Metal, and Cool World. Rango is a legitimate masterpiece.IJones23 said:
