Watched the latest episode last night

Its so hard, as a scientist, to watch the way these episodes are produced. Its so difficult to tease apart what is significant and repeatable, verses noise in their data. For example as a watcher, I'm completely confused on what "east canyon" and "the entry point" are and if they're close to the same thing. I just need a better map/layout of the ranch to orient myself. Oak Island (produced by the same company?) has similar problems. Instead of showing me the same damn video of the UAP entering and exiting the mesa for the 50th time this episode, just orient us a little better? So the GPS coordinates of the drone shift to "the entry point" of the UAP....how close are we talking? Actually lining up (as best you can tell), or just over in the same general location on the 500+ acre ranch? Little details, but they do matter if you're trying to conduct a "scientific investigation" on TV.

There is a lot of interesting phenomena but getting difficult to keep up with. You have the 30 ft blob. The cone which has an apex at the triangle (verified by the data only once and never repeated?). The entry point now in east canyon. The dig site. Again, same problem Oak Island has in showing something different in a new location each episode and trying to claim its significant instead of focusing on one or two things.

One thing is for sure is that GPS goes whacky out there....and that they can pick up a 1.6 GHz signal. everything else its hard for me to buy in terms of reproducibility because each show focuses on a different outcome from their experiments.

The "entry point" is located in the top of the mesa in the east field (also called east field canyon) about 1/2 mile from triangle. The UAP exits the mesa at a point just east of the triangle.

Entry point (look for small white orb in middle of yellow circle)

This week, in a shocking turn of events, electronics don't work right and there are things in the sky.

Kind of like a college football season, another season of Skinwalker Ranch has flown by way too fast and is over before you know it.

They should have cased that hole. I think that's a year round activity you can do in the snow so the weather excuse was lame.

Definitely something weird going on above the triangle.

Fugal initially said on Twitter that this season was going to be 16 episodes, so I was fully expecting three more episodes after this week, and was super surprised to not only see two drop at once on Tuesday, but that one of them was the season finale.

Oh well.

That said, as much as I love this show, and this cast, and will watch as many seasons as they want to make, and will take any morsels of info/discoveries they give us each episode… I do have to admit that the format it getting pretty stale at this point. I think I said as much after last season, but more so even now, it's to the point where I simply don't need to see any more drone experiments or rockets fired into the sky ever again. It feels like they've done damn near everything they can in that regard, and the big draw now seems to just be more drones, more rockets, and more lidar - now all at the same time! Oh, my!

And yeah, not casing the hole yet was incredibly lame. But once they finally do, next season needs to focus primarily on the mesa. They should of course keep experimenting above the triangle, but the focus of the show should now switch primarily to getting to the bottom of the mesa, both physically and data-wise.

Again, I still love the show, and am more convinced than ever that something truly anomalous/mind-blowing is going on there. It's just that five seasons in now, I really need them to shake things up a bit going forward.

It will be interesting to see what they can learn about the anomalies in the mesa using down hole oilfield tools next year. Assuming they don't fail unexpectedly.

If next season is just more squirrelly GPS data and failed drone experiments they may rapidly lose viewers.

I figured we'd see more last season about that "I alive" screen melting incident.

I've previewed the next 25 seasons of the show and still…
Nothing happens.
