I mentioned already but I can't see Mike Schur going out dark. I'm guessing next week is a series of flash forwards that show how each person spent "eternity" and then they all walk through the door together.

Gotta feeling they're going to go dark on the last episode. Like this whole series was just a projection in Eleanor's head as her brain shuts down and the end is her walking through the green door and her mom pulling the plug at the same time. Maybe the same thing is happening At the same time with chidi, Jason and tehawnee(sp?).
I was let down by this. From this pic, I was expecting Tahani to be much hotter than she was.OCEN99 said:
You know a show has made it when it inspires a porn parody.

Bell is a hottie, but she's got a mad set of cankles working. First noticed while she was in that Greece scene.
Still wood

I appreciate their musculature, but even my wife agreed. Check the scene walking around Greece in that dress with those white shoes. Probably an optical illusion.
the last few episodes certainly make you think about our own lives. How the certain end leads to to strive for fulfillment and complete lives and how an unending afterlife would lead to a mundane existence.oragator said:
As I have thought about it over the last 24 hours, I think the reason the finale struck a chord with so many, beyond the heart it showed and the perfect ending, is that for the entire show philosophy was front and center, as was our desire to avoid our mortality,
But in the end the really simple and wholly true message, beyond the constant theme of selflessnes, was that it is our mortality that makes us human. We have to have an end to be real. That is both comforting and cathartic, especially as a way to end something we enjoyed, like the show. It was such a great ending point and message after all of the craziness of the 4 seasons, it brought "reason" to the whole series, as it ended the philosophy angle came full circle.
Side note, saw this on twitter and thought it was both true and hilarious.

Reminds me of the episode of Alf where we learn that Melmacians have a set life span. Willie said he'd have been scared to know when he was going to die, but Alf said he'd be scared not to know.
