Regina King's directorial debut, this one got great reviews on the festival circuit.

Just FYI, for any freaks like me counting at home, this is still scheduled to hit theaters December 25, prior to its January streaming release. Which, for any potential end-of-year lists, technically makes it a 2020 release.

Though, that brings up an interesting question (again, "interesting" for freaks like me). If making, say, a top ten list for 2020, where do the movies released in January and February 2021 fall, as those titles will obviously be released in 2021, but will count toward the 2020 Oscar pool?

If anyone's interested in seeing this, virtual screenings are now available but selling out fast. I just bought a "virtual ticket" for the night of Sunday, December 6. $12. From what I understand, you have only the night of your screening to watch the film, via their streaming service, and then it expires. Again, this is one of the big Oscar contenders this year, and won't be out in regular theaters until February 19th, apparently...

Was planning on AirPlaying it to Apple TV as well, so hopefully that works. Definitely surprised that they don't have Apple TV app.

I have never bought into Liam Neeson being a badass. From Qui Gon, Taken, wolf movie. I just don't see it and don't buy into it. Am I completely wrong? How does he keep getting to make these movies he's got to be close to 65 yrs right?

This looks... awesome? Saul Goodman: Action Hero is something I never expected, but it's also kind of brilliant? This could be blasphemy, but I think this might actually look better - or at least more fun - than John Wick.
