Btw, has anyone seen any of these Ti West/Mia Goth movies? MaXXXine is apparently part of a trilogy, with the two previous installments - X and Pearl - both releasing in 2022, and both receiving great reviews (94% and 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, respectively). I haven't seen either one, but MaXXXine looks like a lot of fun, to the point where I want to go back and watch the other two as well.

Also, for the record, I don't think Mia Goth plays the same character in all of them, seeing as they span multiple decades. It sounds like they're more thematically related, with certain story elements serving as connective tissue...

I have seen them. She is not the same character in both…exactly. They are very different from each other (essentially different genres) but both very good. This also looks like a departure in genre but does seem to be thematically the same.
