The premise is the actors are playing themselves (although altered version - some less altered than others) in Vegas for a 90210 30th anniversary event, which will ultimately spur pursuing a reboot of the actual show. It was so over the top and bad. It was like watching community theater.

Although George would have been Jason Anderson playing a part fake, part real version of Jason Anderson. And real Jerry would have had a teenage girlfriend.

I think they should have just made a bunch of 90210 teasers but not made the show. I watched all of 90210 for basically my whole adolescence and college years and this is terrible. Tiffani-Amber Thiessen is still fab, was great in White Collar, and looks better at 50 than all these barbies.

It has gotten "better". The first episode was bizarre, but maybe some of that is because I had misguided expectations. Now that I know the premise, I actually think this is probably a good way to approach the "reboot".
