I'd love to see proof of this as I've been talking them up for probably at least 5-6 years of not more.

Arch Echo is an impressively talented, and caffeinated, group of Berklee grads who play instrumentals in sort of a prog/metal/djent/jazz fusion genre. Their second album is coming soon and this is their first video from it.

They're coming to McKinney this summer supporting Tony MacAlpine, two of the guys will be in Tony's band as well.

I do believe they're playing in Clear Lake, too.

I saw someone posted Strand of Oaks "Weird Ways" on page one but wanted to add that the whole album "Eraserland" is out now, and it is absolutely incredible. The boys from My Morning Jacket (minus Jim) recorded the album with Timothy and it's greatness. Easily my favorite album of the year so far. check it out

Cheap Tricks last 2 albums We're All Right and Bang Zoom Crazy...Hello had 2 or 3 solid CT songs. Felt like vintage 70s and 80s CT. Ditto for the new single.

AC/DC - surprised to hear Brian Johnson is back at least for studio stuff. Apparently the album is a tribute to Malcolm Young - based on some riffs he had laid down before he passed. This could go either way.

Stones - I mean if we get anything to add to their catalogue it's a bonus at this point. I'll check it out but not excited yet.

About to jump into this new Vampire Weekend.

Waiting for my CD to arrive (hopefully). They gave free CD copies out with ever ticket purchase on their upcoming tour. I got an email 3 times from ticketmaster asking me to redeem the offer and provide my address, which I did 3 times. We'll see if it actually ships or if I have to bang on ticketmaster's heads to get it out.

Really digging the new Vampire Weekend. My one critique would be it's a bit long. If I listen the the last few songs alone they are strong, but listening straight through you can get fatigue.
