It's not PC by any means but the wife and i started last night and thought it was hilarious.

Wow, that one dude in the trailer (teacher or principal?) looks like John Ritter.

I've watched the whole season and enjoyed the darkness and just trashy-ness of it. It isn't great acting, but there is a message about having to fix what is broken inside no matter what you look like on the outside.

Enjoyed the pilot - the satire is not meant for 2018...it's like a throwback to late 90s classics Drop Dead Gorgeous and Election.

Only your sense of humor, morals, and bounds of political correctness can answer that.

Finally finished it.
It was all over the map, great subversive humor. Completely went off the rails for a while and finished really well.
But definitely not what it was portrayed as.

I think the issue was the emphasis on big boobs
They were in every scene and Jessie is 25 years old so you don't have to worry you pedos

The show has a lot issues outside of fatness.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but people take this wayyyyy too seriously, it's a freakin comedy, not a life lesson. Read the comments, 80% disagree with her, and many of those that agreed with her have refused to watch because of the uproar.
I honestly believe that after the trailer backlash, every reviewer is scared to give it an even decent review. There's a reason it has the weirdest discrepancy I have ever seen between viewers and critics.

Happened a bit ago apparently, but it did get a season 2.
