I think everyone has waited long enough for a live action, modern FX version of the 80s cartoon and toy line Dino-Riders. Keep it cheesy/campy.



Explorers is another 80s movie that feel dated and could be re-done. It's 3am here and I'm low on sleep; I'll post more later, I'm sure.

King Kong vs Godzilla

Saw the original on the big screen back when I was in elementary school and thought it was great. Saw it decades later on video and realized how bad it really was. Could be fantastic with modern CGI and decent actors.

I think a remake of Burt Lancaster's Jim Thorpe movie could be good.

Not that I necessarily want it remade, but I was watching the Wizard of Oz the other day and wondered what it would look like if done today. I'm sure it would start in color 1080p, then when Dorothy opens the door, revealing Munchkinland, it turns to 4K HDR.
