I don't think that there is anyone on the show better to be a robot than Sam.

"Hey Sam, what's up?"

"I'm a f***ing robot."

I love this punishment. That robot face cracks me up whenever Sam is talking.

Sam is from rural VA where most of my family is from and she sounds exactly like them. Shes also pretty funny and she seems self aware. Her punishment sucks but she seems like the type of person who will embrace it
I thought it was funny that Julie called him Chris, but called her Rockstar. Seemed like a bit of a slap in the face to him.

And I agree about Sam and the punishment. With her attitude, it could actually help her get in good with other folks that she might not necessarily interact with much.

Swaggie is already wearing on my with his "swaggie" attitude that seems to be on constantly.

I had high hopes for Angela, but her face when her team was making their case to stay was just spoiled brat pissy.

Bayleigh and Rachel are going to be the high-drama troublemakers.

Rockstar and Kaitlyn and their weirdness...I'm over them already. I said above that I'm going to avoid the crowd and start hating Rockstar now. Kaitlyn, too.

JC may be stunt casting, but he has potential to be entertaining.

Steve (my son calls him the "chubby Jimmy Smits") thinks a bit too highly of his detective and BB skills.

Scottie is my pick for undercover power. I think he's going to surprise some folks. (His running away from the girls wanting to kiss him was hilarious, and definitely showed some athleticism).

Sam is quite quite, and should be good at the social stuff, but may be in over her hillbilly head.

Football girl is not handling her punishment as well as Sam, and that may be a big problem for her.

Our faves are Winston and Hayleigh. Smart, socially savvy.

Faysal, too, maybe.

I know I'm leaving out a couple, but that just means they're just meh so far.

ETA:

Tyler, who says his weakness is his brain. Also said he should play dumb, which isn't hard for him. Seems to be accurate.

Here's my rules to making it far in BB...


-Win or throw comps...but dont be obvious that you're a beast or obvious that your'e throwing them...and if you win, always be gracious
-Clean and cook for all
-Be respectful
-Don't be open and brash about your alliances
-Don't run to others to share information. Let them come to you and then you share what you need to
-Listen more than talk.

Follow that and you can play multiple styles of psychological/physical/social strategies around those main rules.

I'd fail miserably at the "listen more than talk" one but I'd try my hardest to stay true to it .

Overall seems a good cast. I hope Sam survives and lasts a while. I like her. She is perfect for the robot.

Already can't stand Chris. He's way to cocky and won't last too long.

I'm going to be bummed if Sam leaves anytime soon. No way does she win, but she's entertaining.

Steve had to be cast just to be the first to go. He needs to meditate with Crazy Pants for an hour or two.

I'm not sure she acts as weird in the house as she is protrayed on TV. Besides, there are a few other interesting individuals in the group.

Poor Sam...it will suck if she gets nominated for eviction. The whole robot penalty really stinks for her game.

Right, I feel bad for her. She was in the house for a few hours, then got kicked out for the majority of the first week while everyone else was bonding.

I'd be pissed if I was her, especially the other girl's punishment was just a silly outfit.

I see no way Sam doesn't go home unless she wins Veto. It's the obvious choice. She was a robot, wasn't there, no blood on anyone's hands.
CNN is an enemy of the state and should be treated as such.

Don't like Chris. He's playing too hard too fast and he's the type that will make enemies fairly quickly and put a target on his back. Don't like Kaitlyn, really I like nothing about her.

Completely agree that Sam was the absolute perfect personality for the robot. She has me and my wife cracking up with the things she says.

I can't help but laugh at JC. Really don't dislike any of the HG but Chris and Kaitlyn. And Beyleigh looks like one that could get annoying if she turns up the drama.

Seems like we have a nice pipeline to BB. That makes three Aggies in the last 4-5 years or so? Let's hope Hayleigh is not the airhead the last two were.

they have suitcases. each night before eviction, the noms are given their suitcases to pack all their crap.

it always looks like they have the same clothes because production takes anything that is too loud, not solid colors, has a logo on it, etc.

they are allowed college gear but no actual logos, even on socks.

I know that feeling of not fitting in with a group and perceiving that people are ganging up on you. Part of me was wondering if that was pure emotion from Sam or if she was partly playing up the tears. Based on what we saw on television it seemed genuine, but it could be something she does all the time outside of the house. Hopefully Steve leaves so we can learn more about Sam. I figured working in a welding shop with a group of guys would give her thick skin to just about every situation.

Sam is still a robot. She was talking about herself a little. She dropped out of high school but got her GED. She wanted to be a forest ranger but couldn't pass the math classes in community college. She's so darn cute.

Fassal got the App Store punishment "Hamazon Delivery" -- he keeps getting boxes of ham that he has to eat.

No clue who got the app store reward. People are asking each other but no one has fessed up yet. Winston and Brett definitely did not get it. They are a tight pair and swore to each other. They are speculating that maybe JC got it.

Sounds like a pretty rough comp. Paintballs, freezing cold water, snakes/spiders, and being shocked.

Most of the houseguests are talking about how ungrateful Sam was being during the comp, and how she was cussing out production the whole time. Hell, if I'm being shocked over and over again, I'm pretty sure I'd have a potty mouth as well.
