How long do you want to ignore this user?

Having watched it when it came out in the 80s, I loved it and still do. But I can understand people today watching it for the very first time and thinking it's awful. But it was at the height of the Brat Pack days and sort of showed them all "growing up" from all the high school movies they were in. Graduating college and going into the real world and realizing...."being a grown up f-ing sucks."

I think Siskel and Ebert were negative on it at the time (for those who used to wait for a review by and watch TV or read a newspaper).

I liked About Last Night a lot better at the time, but haven't seen either since. Or maybe I have, I don't remember.

Love those 80's tobacco product placements.

A friend of mine described it as a "Big Chill" for kids in college, except without a decent story or good acting.

Yep. Exactly. Like so many in the 80's.
