For Sansa and Bran to come out as the two most powerful people in this show is just appalling.

Loved it. The reverse engineering to get to this point wasn't great and had some missteps but I liked that ending. Sad to see the show end.

I don't find this comparison accurate at all. For the Allies to invade Japan, it was going to cost an estimated 6-14 million Allied and Japanese lives.
To drop the atomic bombs, it was going to cost 220,000 civilian lives.
That's the math Truman used to justify his decision.

The atomic bombs were used to force Japan's ruling class to surrender while saving American and allied troop lives.
Dany burned King's landing after they had essentially surrendered and actually cost more of her soldiers to die. She did it to quench her hate and blood lust.

The author of that article failed miserably with their comparison.

Well, conquering westeros the hard way had already cost her basically all her western allies, her whole fleet, most of her dothraki, most of her unsullied, all of her friends, and 2 of her dragons, and she was facing untold armies of spies, assassins, undefeated armies, undeterred lords, unafraid citizens, etc. she was going to have to face all that without the resources to do it.

He just had his heart broken by the big woman, so I don't have a problem with him not asking about Brienne. However, some comment about Jon coming North would have been warranted.

Wow..... very very interesting.

Jon's sentence wasn't a sentence at all - I kept thinking why would there be a Castle Black and a Wall any more. I think they just pulled one over on the Unsullied and let him go north with his buddy Tormund.

The Bran part - well a little weird but I always though this show was about underdogs - I thought at one time Jon, Dany and Tyrion would be the ones to rule in some way. that obviously wasn't going to happen..... so of course it's Bran. I half expected Gendry though too.

LOVE the Ghost moment - might be my favorite part.

Arya, Sansa both just kind of weird but that's almost expected at this point.

The last small council was......kind of lame. Too comical. F-ing Bronn....really.

Jon errr Aegon finally did the right thing. Damn that was a long time coming really.

But in the end no wheel was broken - just one spoke was removed (the North). And they will supposedly be more diplomatic about selecting a ruler. Yeah that wouldn't last. So..... kind of just full circle and the wheel keeps spinning. Like Tyrion said.... ask me in 10 years.

Was it snowing in Kings Landing??? If that was supposed to be ash it sure as hell looked like snow.

That was as good as could be expected based on the rest of the season.

I'm actually very satisfied with the ending.

Bran's arc finally has a purpose.

Sansa ruling the North.

Arya going west. (Knew she would end the series this way, perfect for her character.)

Sam the archmaester.

Jon back in the North, adventuring with Tormund and Ghost.

Tyrion doing the job he loves and is best at.

Davos alive and well.

Jaime's deeds finally filled in.

Honestly can't complain about much. D&D deserve props for this episode.
