Thoughts everyone?

First, holy crap. The battle scene is nuts! Good to finally see the dragons in action! Drogon's a beast, but wonder if he is grounded and for how long now he got nailed.

Feels like we know now how Littlefinger will bite it too now that Arya has possession of the dagger.

And did Jon Snow bend the knee? Tune in next week...

Lots of other things happened, but these were the highlights for me. One of the shortest episodes of the series, certainly of this season, but thought it was one of the best in the series too.

Finally meaningful screen time for Bron...and didn't disappoint! Worried that last scene was his last though. Here's to hoping episode 5 leaks soon!

Not gonna lie, after they somewhat humanized the typical Lannister soldier in ep. 1 with Arya, watching them quiver as Drogon and the horde rode down on them was somewhat sad. As was the way Meera got shut out by Bran

Only one of them was in the shot of Jamie sinking, I wonder if Bronn although a fan favorite, will survive he has to be injured, or was it Dickon that saves him?

If Dickon inner Dickon dies setting Sam up to inherit Horn Hill.

Also, did we see Old Man Tarly get roasted?

I thought it was him, but it was so quick that it was probably just a regular soldier. I think Tarly and Sam will have another interaction.

I also assume that Jaime and Bronn are both POWs now.

Jesus that was pretty outrageous. Bronn getting the wounding shot on Drogon was a bit unbelievable but holy **** that battle scene was intense. 3 dragons is the apocalypse. They are bbq everything.

Brings up the same question I've had since the dragons started growing. How does the night king compete against that? They'll torch his entire army in about 8 seconds.

I think she will too. But one very slight nitpick I had was that the lack of the other 2 at this battle had me very confident that the bolt wasn't going to work. While GOT is prone to the surprise death, I was confident Drogon wouldn't be killed right out of the gate in this episode. Which lessened the tension a bit.

I was banging on my desk and making more noise than I thought I was while watching in my office. The office next to mine came over to make sure I was ok

There has been a lot of that action movie stuff the last couple of seasons. It made me roll me eyes a little (Jamie's plot armor is thick as hell), but it was still a great scene.

Was incredibly awesome - her control of the drogon the napalm gun is impressive!

Too bad the only 2 carriages they missed on the initial assault had the Big Crossbow

I went down that rabbit hole as well. Going to be some awesome episodes before seasons end

This is usually the kind of action and excitement you see in the late season, I hope the rest of the season is this awesome.

So one on one, who do you take over Ayra?

The only one I can think of is Zombie Mountain and even then, Arya's speed might be more than enough.

When they said every episode is an episode 9, I now believe them. So much action each episode. So great.

I think the war between Danny and Cersie is pretty much wrapped up. She showed what she could do but there could be some curveballs. Will Tyrion get worried about her becoming the mad queen? Clearly some concern on his face during the battle. Jamie and him reunited should be good. A betrayal is at this point Cersie's only hope. They probably wrap all the battles up with Cersie, Euron, etc in the next two episodes with 7 being focused on the north, walkers, and setting up the final season.

Would love to see some battle but that'll probably come next season.

By killing one and turning it.

I'm sure they can be killed. I really think one dies at some point.

If one dies it'll be Viserion. Drogon's names has ties to Danny and Rhaegal to Jon. Jon will ride a dragon at some point.
