From beginning to end, this may be one of the greatest scenes ever. It is perfect.

Wahlburg and Reilly are excellent. The look of nervous terror on Wahlburg's face during this scene is just so real. Alfred Molina is electrifying. I can't believe that's Tom Jane behind that mustache. The guy with the fireworks.

And the music. Best use of music in a scene. To this day, Jessie's Girl has a ominous tone to it that I can't shake. I love this sequence so much.

The beginning of the invasion in The Longest Day. The Germans first seeing the boats, the speech that the French captain gives, Goldfinger getting thrown off his donkey during the bombardment, while the local man is celebrating. Just awesome everytime.

Yeah True Detective season 1 where Rust and Marty are with the biker gang dressed up as cops and go into the hood to rob the drug dealers.

I think I forgot to breathe during that whole sequence the first time I watched it

Rick: I'm saying it because it's true. Inside of us, we both know you belong with Victor. You're part of his work, the thing that keeps him going. If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.

Ilsa: But what about us?

Rick: We'll always have Paris. We didn't have, we, we lost it until you came to Casablanca. We got it back last night.

Ilsa: When I said I would never leave you--

Rick: And you never will. But I've got a job to do, too. Where I'm going, you can't follow. What I've got to do, you can't be any part of. Ilsa, I'm no good at being noble, but it doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world. Someday you'll understand that.

[she begins to cry]

Now, now...Here's looking at you kid.

Maybe four of the greatest lines ever just in that exchange:

You'll regret it. Maybe not today. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.

We'll always have Paris.

It doesn't take much to see that the problems of three little people don't amount to a hill of beans in this crazy world.

Movie 1st: said it before. Bar scene in Goodfellas.
A lot of good choices from Goodfellas. My favorite is the single shot where Henry is weaving Lorraine through the nightclub kitchen, then being seated in front of the show. You really get a sense of Henry being a big shot and Lorraine being swept off her feet.

I finally binge-watched that series and it was fantastic. Woody and the Bongo-Boy were nails.

I love the hole in one scene in Seinfeld, glad I am not alone.

But for me, when you put it all together, the la marseillais scene in Casablanca has to to be the best.
First, it is the pivotal scene in arguably the best movie ever made. But the paths of all the stars are set with almost no dialogue masterfully. And while the acting is great, for many of them it isn't acting. That scene was purposely filled with French people actually displaced by the war, at the time not knowing if the would ever go home. The emotion was real, it is a living piece of history. Then add to that the rousing anthem itself, the fact that the movie was early enough in film history that it was totally and completely original with nothing, unlike pretty much any scene today to be derived from, and it's really hard to top. Here is a good article on it.

There are so many great Seinfeld scenes. I'm literally laughing out loud at the ones mentioned so far. Others that crack me up:

The scene where we are introduced to Rick in "Casablanca"

From when he denies the rich German entrance to the casino:
"Your money's good at the bar"

to his conversation with Ugarte:
"You despise me, don't you?"
"If I gave you any thought, I probably would."

to his fight with Yvonne:
"Where were you last night?"
"That's so long ago I don't remember."
"Will I see you tonight?"
"I never make plans that far ahead."

and ending with his conversation with Renault
"And what brought you to Casablanca?"
"My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters."
"Waters? What waters? We're in the desert!"
"I was misinformed."

This sequence (and this movie) is perfect.

This scene when God parts the Red Sea with the music, the dark clouds and storm winds and the meaning and power of it all is simply overwhelming to me.

I second the earlier poster with King Theoden's rally and ride into Gondor and that is one of my all time favorites as well. There's so many to choose from though.
