Can't believe nobody has put this one. The movie doesn't need to be said. I had forgotten it but...

Tuco running through the cemetery.

Just about to post this one. Awesome scene set to a great soundtrack.

Eastwood had some great scenes in the Dirty Harry series:

--dizzying camera work in Gezar Stadium when Eastwood catches Scorpio in Dirty Harry
--"do you feel lucky punk?" scene in Dirty Harry
--"they want a car, what are you going to do?"...."Give em one" scene in The Enforcer
--street chase scene between Callahan and Henry Lee Caldwell in the Enforcer
--"here's a seven point suppository captain" scene in the Enforcer
--"go ahead, make my day" scene in Sudden Impact

The Godfather baptism/murder montage. So striking I involuntarily think about it anytime I am at a baptism or mass and we renew the baptismal vows.

But for me, when you put it all together, the la marseillais scene in Casablanca has to to be the best.

First, it is the pivotal scene in arguably the best movie ever made. But the paths of all the stars are set with almost no dialogue masterfully. And while the acting is great, for many of them it isn't acting. That scene was purposely filled with French people actually displaced by the war, at the time not knowing if the would ever go home. The emotion was real, it is a living piece of history. Then add to that the rousing anthem itself, the fact that the movie was early enough in film history that it was totally and completely original with nothing, unlike pretty much any scene today to be derived from, and it's really hard to top. Here is a good article on it.

Rewatched Creed the other day and was reminded how freaking great this was. Probably the most immersed I've ever felt in a movie. Especially seeing it in the theater with the surround sound.

The whole scene of the Galactica dropping into the atmosphere, launching all their Vipers, then jumping back into space stills gets a "f*** yeah!" out of me. Awesome. Just so f-ing cool.

The Tiny Dancer scene in Almost Famous is one of my all time favorites. I'm absolutely in love with Kate Hudson in that movie.

I love that scene, but the later on basement bar scene is my favorite of the two. Great movie.

Not my favorite scene per se, but the "expectations vs reality" scene in 500d of Summer was pretty neat
