There are only 4 albums that weren't greatest hits compilations that I listened through with no skipping. 3 have been mentioned, but I didn't see Stone Temple Pilots in this thread.

Stone Temple Pilots - Core

There are a couple of songs on Core I don't like, but Purple, I can listen throughout.

My opinion is that Under Lock and Key was better, but not going to argue with you....still a solid album.

Damn that's one of the best parts on the album.

1978 had two albums of 9 song perfection.

Powerage
Street Legal (get the 1999 mix, the original is very bad).

I have great admiration for Brian Johnson, who stayed humble and who saved AC/DC (though it died with Malcom). But wow does Bon Scott just murder every single song with writing and delivery. The refrain at 4:55 on Down Payment Blues will give you chills. It's a masterpiece.

Street Legal is unjustly forgotten. Dylan said he just grabbed the songs from the air where they preexisted when asked if Changing of the Guards was inspired by Tarot cards or the music business or something else. I kind of believe it - the song is otherworldly, and most of the album is either like that (especially Senor), hilarious (Is Your Love in Vain?), or both (We Better Talk This Over).

Please tell me i just missed this (skimmed 7 pages quickly)
