Why not the standard 100 - age for point scoring, with a 24 hour waiting period for waiver claims?

Some good ideas here but no waivers though. Pick 10 and stick to your guns the whole year.

Have your "roster" turned in by New Years Day.

I'm also ok if a person shows up on multiple rosters. Hell...I even encourage it because you know a bunch of losers will just nominate really old people and end up getting smoked by more skilled players focusing on folks burning the candle at both ends.

100 minus age seems like a workable formula. However, treat persons older than 100 as if they are "only" 100, or perhaps even declare them ineligible ("lifetime" ban or somesuch).

I'm ok with no waivers but if i lose a roster member to death's sweet embrace can i fill that spot with a fresher inhabitant?

Maybe for the 100+ people you get a roster bonus if they don't die? But yeah, to me there's no incentive to pick someone that old.

My vote would be to keep it a "death" watch, not a "life" watch. I would hate for the contest to be anything other than morbid. Seems like that's kind of the point.
