It was the note that Sansa wrote to Robb asking him to bend the knee to Joffrey. It was written after Ned was taken prisoner, but before he was executed by Joffrey. Basically Cercei Lannister compelled her to write it.

It was the note Sansa wrote toward the end of season 1 - under duress at the behest of Cersei and the small council. Littlefinger was there which is why he knew about it.

Basically Sansa said Ned was a traitor and for Robb to come to KL and bend the knee to the rightful king Joffrey.
Robb saw through the note and knew it was a trap basically. Thats when he summoned the northern banners to go fight.

It won't look good to the northerners now while she is in charge and will likely cause a rift with Arya as well.

But why did she burn up the gold with her dragon?

It's funny how the same discussions keep happening, but to be fair, this IS a really active and long thread.

Jon Snow finds out that Arya and Bran are alive in a Raven, and then the whole thing is brushed aside in ten seconds to talk about Bran seeing the army of the dead marching. This should be a huge moment for Jon's character, but it isn't. That made me a little sad.

I think this one falls prey to the speed at which things are happening now. Kind of like how Tyrion watches Jaime get almost burned by the dragon, thrown into the river, and then just knows that Jaime not only survived but made it back to KL just fine.

If Littlefinger was doing something extraordinary that would make sense. But the situation is more attributable to Arya's carelessness than to some genius deception from Littlefinger. Arya being careless seems out of character, so it seems like it's either bad writing or she has a deeper plan.

She was pretty careless and overconfident in Season 5 when the waif stabbed her. Hopefully she has learned her lesson.

I got an alert at 3 AM and was pissed since it woke me up. Saw that it was from my Plex server where it downloaded it and suddenly was less pissed. Going to be long day until I can watch it tonight.
