It looks like they are setting her up to follow Aegon the Conqueror's path. Fly from Dragonstone with dragons and attack King's Landing.

Yes well....this has always been the Dany and Jon story....not sure how anyone ever thought otherwise. That was my thought on seeing S1 Ep 1 or 2/3 certainly somewhere during S1...and then after reading the books I was more convinced. And to a lesser degree the Tyrion story as well, but he is the comedic relief and sidekick.

I never thought for 1 second Jon wasn't coming back.

It's always been an underdog story.

All 3 meet these criteria:

No family or abandoned shunned by their family
Not a person that would ever be assumed to rise to power - *******, woman, dwarf
Youngest of their line if they had one - Dany and Tyrion are, for Jon it's not really relevant
All 3 were the cause of their mother's death at childbirth
Possibly all 3 were the product of rape - Dany was, Tyrion possibly if his dad is Aerys, Jon possibly we've only seen the birth at this point she was abducted (again possibly depending on your view)


And none of that really has to do with the 3 headed dragon theory, etc.....but to me it was always been an underdog story.

So anyway, yes, Cersei dies first. Not only that I don't think any of those three dies (not again anyway). So she is the only one that dies. How that manifests I'm not sure but....don't rule out the Volantis way of governing in the end.....Volantis always has three (elected) rulers. I see it not necessarily as a love story (could be) but possibly with Dany in the South, Jon in the North and Tyrion in the middle or just in Casterly Rock and he is the tiebreaker vote or the council to both in effect.

The trailer has Cersei blowing frost breath. The WWs are going to be a massive issue. I suspect we will have coalitions of armies fighting up until the WW army comes then everyone will have to try to band together (or throw others under the bus).

More likely it ends by Jon and Dany defeating the white walkers and they have a giant feast to celebrate. At the feast the Sand Snakes murder everyone and take rule of Westeros.
