Also, will there be a scene where Aladdin is in a shirtless bare knuckle boxing match? Because there's one in about half of his movies.

That's the second time I've seen someone say that in this thread.

King Arthur must have been real, real bad, because The Man From U.N.C.L.E was only 3 years ago and it was awesome. I know Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch were over 15 years ago, but those two movies alone buy Ritchie a lot of good will with me.

I think his style could work very well in this movie. I guess we'll see.

I thought UNCLE was the definition of average. Inoffensive, sorta fun at times, but completely forgettable.

I think it's just that his bits are tired. UNCLE had one of his "oh let's rewind and show you what REALLY happened" and it's so obvious and unnecessary. Apparently King Arthur does this too. Rewind and re-show. I can't wait to watch that one.

Jack Black is the only actor that I think could bring the energy necessary to even be remotely comparable to Robin Williams, but he could definitely ruin the movie and there'd be a lot of #geniesowhite non-sense.

I don't get where you are coming from on this. The animated movie was great, but I would assume any live action version of an animated movie would suck until proven otherwise. The vast majority of them end up like that.

Ok... just based off this pictures... they missed the mark on ALL of the characters shown except Abu...jasmine and Aladdin costume looks bad and the actors don't fit the look that we all know... and as far as will Smith... they are really going for the Broadway version with the black actor maybe for something that new fans to relate to? But based on his costume and look... yikes.... all this aside, I will still see it as Aladdin is one of my favorite animated Disney movies... but I'm super afraid this won't be good now
