Was that blood eagle? I seemed to remember it being different. Either way, when he went to hatcheting on those ribs it looked like a pretty damn awful way to go.

I'm a little scared that they introduced the new blonde hottie (the one who married an Earl instead of King Harald) as a replacement for Lagertha when she gets "accidentally" run over by a certain someone's chariot.

I looked it up. Bishop Heahmund, supposedly a historical figure but I can find almost nothing about the Bishop online.

thought it was a pretty good finale, some closure and then some intrigue going forward. King Ecbert screwed the Vikings sounds like.

Why do they pretend at times they don't all speak English and have an interpreter, then in the very next scene the very same people are talking to one another in English?

My only complaint with the show
