Definitely a classic. Nigel/the torch is a perfectly cast villain. My favorite scenes are the mel torme scene and pretty much anything with chocolate moose (gasoline, his fight scenes when they break into the base)

On the subject of Kilmer, I will say that if you haven't checked out a movie he made with Stephen Dorff called FELON, I highly recommend it. I think it's on Netflix.

BTW, Real Genius is probably my favorite 80's comedy. With Top Secret! and Real Genius, why wasn't Kilmer making more comedies?

He's still pretty good when he wants to be. I'm not sure he wants to act as much anymore. Maybe he's just over Hollywood, I'm pretty sure he lives on a ranch in New Mexico and is really into his life there. I think I heard he's considered running for office there, but maybe I am making that up.

Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that he totally let himself go.
