I'm listening this morning to the Home Alone Soundtrack and hearing hints of Harry Potter and Hook and Jurrassic Park. This guy has by far the most impressive resume of soundtracks in the business. What are some of your favorites?

I'd have to go with Star Wars as 1A, and almost everything else as 1B.

I'm going to throw in a vote for 1941. Not only is the score so great, but I am unashamed in my love for that movie.

The Star Wars soundtracks reign supreme for me above everything, but I think my favorite non-SW Williams piece is A Window to the Past from Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban. if you've seen the movie, it plays when Lupin and Harry are on a bridge and Lupin is telling Harry about his parents, very beautiful scene and gorgeous music.

It really sums up for me what being Harry might be like - talented, famous, popular beyond belief, but the bittersweetness of envying almost every person alive because they have a mom and a dad.

Hedwig's Theme is simply amazing and just completely encapsulates the story.

Every score JW has written is wonderful. My vote for his best is The Empire Strikes Back.
