I watch all of those shows. Arrow is more dark than the others but not like that. Flash and Supergirl are not dark at all.

That will be part of the subscription. It will be all the movies, shows and animations of DC so you are in luck!

When it comes to comics, I am a huge Bat family reader. This doesn't resemble DIck Grayson....at. all. Only one that may have acted that way was Jason...and he was never with the Titans.

I'm baffled how DC continues to just churn out junk. I really wanted to like BvS and JL and there are parts that I do like, but they still don't work well. How can you take the 2 biggest comic book characters ever, Batman & Superman, and do this poorly with movies about them? And all this talk about now a Joker origin story (who's never had a definitive origin in the comics) and a Birds of Prey (without Catwoman or Poison Ivy Batgirl....sorry, was thinking of Gotham City SIrens)....this just continues to run off the rails.

Either Geoff Johns isn't the great leader I thought he would be or he really doesn't have the power that they claim he does.

I'm probably out on the comics now as well

TITANS looks pretty bad. I was hoping to see something about the next season of Young Justice. Maybe we will soon.

What's mind blowing is that they can do the arrowsverse that I enjoy so much on the freaking CW but bigger budgets can't get it right.

Arrowverse has it's own set of issues, but is FAR Superior to the DCEU

I'm a huge DC fan but this was the worst tv trailer I have ever seen. They missed the tone of literally every character, the costumes are worse than porn parodies, it looks like a grimderp edgelord fanfic, Starfire looks like some random two dollar hooker, Nightwing is angsting over Batman doing something that is antithetical to his character, and Raven loves the darkness despite hating it in the comics.

DC Comics everyone.

I hear you. This one does feel a little different, though, for a number of reasons...

- It's not part of the DCEU.

- It's at least captivating enough to lure Joaquin Phoenix, one of our greatest/most particular working actors.

- It's written and directed by Todd Philips, who seems like such an out-of-left-field choice, but could actually bring something really unique to the genre.

- It's being made on a low(ish) budget, and sounds more arthouse crime thriller than superhero blockbuster.

- And now... Zazie Beetz.

That said, WB's strategy is no doubt confusing as hell, and almost everyone here seems to agree (myself included) that a Joker origin story is antithetical to what makes the Joker so great in the first place.

Still, I'm at least intrigued...

Yeah, expanding on AgfromHOU's post, it seems there are two primary female roles; one being the Joker's mother, in her 60s, and one being a single mother whom the Joker takes an interest in. Beetz is playing the latter.

I have no desire to see this, and I watch The Flash and the first 3-4 seasons of Arrow. They were pretty great, you're missing out.

I actually like the CW shows more than the Marvel tv shows

Guess I was 0-2 today.

Just FYI, the WB/DC Comic-Con panel starts at 12:30 PM CST. In just over an hour. As a reminder, the only 100% confirmed footage we'll be getting publicly is the Aquaman trailer. It sounds like WB will be debuting footage for Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984 as well, but neither of those will be official trailers, and no one knows if whatever footage is shown in Hall H for each will make it online.

Outside of those three movies, it's still unclear if WB will be announcing their additional DC slate or not. It's looking increasingly like they won't, as this isn't just a DC panel, but a WB panel for Godzilla: King of the Monsters ,Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and The LEGO Movie 2 as well, so there may simply not be enough time to announce new DCEU movies, trot out new directors/cast, etc. Sucks, as they really need to explain what's going on, but that kind of stuff may simply come in the form of press releases later this year. Then again, the panel IS two hours, so we shall see...

Wonder Woman 1984 is first up. Showing footage, but it's only for Hall H...
