I thought that was the problem with the DCU, too much edge. Are they going away from that, or was this guy even more out there?

Maybe we'll get some sources or news eventually. It seems like DC kind of pounded their chests about letting their directors have a clear vision and not having one top-level dictator, but now that that hasn't been all that well-received and Geoff Johns is the top-level dictator, they're reeling in that independent filmmaker side a bit.

Or maybe the new director really was "too out there." We may never know.

Either way, this movie is likely to be pushed back, or rushed. That makes changing leadership mid-franchise even tougher than already must be.

When is the wonder woman new trailer dropping today?

I like the period aspects of it, but the action sequences seem a little stuffed with trytoohard.

I give it a solid meh.

I was in before, but I liked this. Could be hokey too. We'll see.

I doubt it is, but that's a complaint of mine as well. I'm hoping that it's only used sparingly and not every fight sequence.

They have to slow it down so you can see her dodge the bullets duh.

I don't really care for the character, I just wanted something I could take my daughter to go see. With the WW1 setting and her carrying a sword, it doesn't look like that will happen. The trailer makes the violence not seem like a big deal though, we'll see.

That looks awesome, can't wait to see it.

I'll take the slo mo over extreme shaky cam.

Have to say it looks better than I expected, we'll see if the story holds up.

I may be wrong but I think they can die but they just don't age... if that makes sense. She is the daughter of Zeus so think Hercules

Looks like it could be good.

I would consider buying Battlefield 1 if they came out with a mod where you could play as Wonder Woman in the game.

I think if they are going by her original origin (which it appears they are from some of the dialogue in the first trailer) she was created by Zeus out of clay, like a Golem. So its a minor distinction, but she's not really a god or demi-god, more of a magical being.

And here i thought it was precious who turned him like that.
