Also, it's kind of a weird movie because it references all this DC universe building that's being jettisoned.

There's no way they let him out to promote the movie, right?YouBet said:
So is Ezra Miller going to escape accountability within the industry simply because this movie is apparently good?
What's the latest on him?

A quesrion that came up after James Gunn took over DC was - does his Superman erase that other one that was being worked on by Ta-Nehisi Coates and JJ Abrams?

I finally got the chance to ask him this weekend. A little mini @io9 exclusive I guess. https://t.co/BTcsbxAjue
They (DC) must have invested a ****-ton of money in this movie to put up with all this bull***** And Batgirl must have sucked beyond belief to get outright cancelled while this goes on.RikkiTikkaTagem said:YouBet said:

Pretty good rundown on what's gone on.

I think his gender fluidity and labeling all of these actions as a "mental health" crisis is going to be what gets him another chance. He'll blow it eventually because it's probably just his personality and not a crisis, which implies some sense of temporal transience.
Will some studio trust home with a blockbuster type role again? Probably not, but he won't be ostracized in Hollywood until something else happens
Making movies with different guys playing the same hero feels like a colossal bad idea.Madmarttigan said:
I'm gonna admit I'm a decent sized nerd and watch all the comic book movies but all this resetting is already completely losing me. Extra Superman universes? Another Batman universe with Reeves movies as well. God knows what flashpoint will introduce.
Kinda meh about the whole thing

I got an advance screening of THE FLASH today. As a rule I don't care a lot for superhero movies, but this one is special. It's heartfelt, funny, and eye-popping. I loved it.

Just as journalists have long limited themselves to interviewing one female and one male per story to avoid the society-threatening chaos and confusion of multiple "him's" or "her's," they will limit future stories to one trans person as well.
Fear not, we sorted this all out at the George Soros-funded lizard people orgy on the Jewish space laser last week.
I've heard people gathered in groups to geek out after the test screenings. I even know someone who had a full on conversation with Andy Muschetti after one of the test screenings and they just geeked out over how much they loved this movie. Belive the hype y'all. #TheFlashMovie https://t.co/U3nyQn7HAM

At #TheFlash screenings this week on the Burbank lot, Warner Bros. blurred out key elements of the final scene to preserve the "secret ending." And that final scene was changed multiple times, a source tells me. https://t.co/FRgb8kfK9r via @variety

Hopefully the secret ending is a recast
Quote:
Muschetti, for one, wouldn't consider recasting Barry Allen/The Flash. "If [a sequel] happens, yes," Muschietti told the Discourse podcast about bringing back Miller. "I don't think there's anyone that can play that character as well as they did. The other depictions of the character are great, but this particular vision of the character, they just excelled in doing it. It feels like a character that was made for them."
