It's really the only plausible direction that character/franchise can go, too.

They've done the classical version, the darker version, and the comedic version.

The crazy, pedal-to-the-metal action version would make so much sense now, and could be so incredibly awesome.

George Miller's IMDB is one of the most eclectic filmography's I've ever seen for a director. I had no idea the same guy who built the Mad Max universe also did Happy Feet and Babe.

Hell yeah - that whole cast is perfection. Glad to see they're not toning down the violence aspect either as it's a core piece of what makes Daredevil it's own thing.

You should watch daredevil. My favorite comic book tv show. Know alot of friends that feel the same. It's fantastic

Seconded, it's just so freakin' good. Insane fight choreography, great characters, and just a cool gritty show.

Diggin' this trailer, there's one or two moments that felt a bit "MCU" but as a whole the tone feels right (especially compared to his She Hulk appearance) and the action is spot on.

But it wasn't MCU I believe... similar to Agents of Shield, Runaways, and Cloak and Dagger.

Are those series now considered MCU or canon?

Netflix has kinda been canonized, in theory, now that Daredevil and Kingpin are here. But we haven't seen any of the others so who knows if they'll use, or perhaps recast/reboot, any of the others. (Here's hoping, for Iron Fist)

Yep: Netflix and Agents of Shield would reference the MCU movies but the movies never referenced the shows, at least until Kingpin and Daredevil started showing up.

Arguably the best Marvel related TV show we've ever gotten, and your question is whether we think you would be alright never watching it and jumping straight to a Disney+ show? The studio that is making a habit of ruining IP?

Do yourself a favor and go watch the Netflix Daredevil.

The Netflix shows are considered canon, not sure about the random Fox/Hulu/etc. shows. Though I did enjoy Runaways.

It was a part of it with a brief mention of the Avengers 1 events, but I have no idea if they are kind of resetting with this series and keeping the same characters but not treating all of those shows as fully cannon.
