They were taking him seriously because Noah vouched for him. They still had him tied up though. Sasha didn't give him any attention until she found out his name.

Bob the cop was in "The Americans". Also, he's Latino, not black.

I am a little shocked no one has *****ed about Tyrese's vagina powers making the group take the diplomatic solution when they already had the tactical advantage.

I was kind of hoping that Bob was gonna straight up kill her. Granted, hopefully this brings out super non-***** Tyrese. Somebody is gonna die in this battle though.

I think Tyrese is the one who's going down...as well as the Preacher.

Remember that Sasha spent the whole episode bemoaning the fact that she couldn't put down her Bob herself. She was given the opportunity to help someone else put down a friend and jumped on it because she is being irrational.

These people are definitely very stupid though. It is annoying that the writers can't come up with more plausible ways for people to get in trouble.

All of the good will they had built up this season and in one episode they flush it down the toliet. At this point I hope that Eugene wakes up and we find out that he amnesia all this time and now he knows who he is and he is a bad ass (aka Jason Bourne). If we're going to be stupid and let Sasha walk out with a guard and have no one notice, let the preacher escape, and let Tyreese "why can't we be friends" emotions run the show then lets just make it a great white shark that we're jumping.

Geez. Tough crowd. Still the best season by far.

They have not lost the goodwill they built up with me from the first few episodes. I can't wait to see how Morgan fits in.

Not saying its not a great season but i wish they handnt have done away with just one story episodes. Why did we have to see the non progression of DC people and the church people. It was a waste of time instead of showing the hospital people.

Agree this is still the best season, but this episode was pretty bad.

First, the 3rd cop is able to drive in between the two cop captives and a group of well armed gumen (including one with an AK-47) without getting shot. Then he is able to get the captives into the car and drive off without being shot. All at point blank range.

Second, Sasha being an idiot and losing a prisoner. The thread has already called her out on this, so I won't belabor the point except to say that it seems very easy to knock someone out cold. If she hits the glass with enough force to knock her out, she should have gone through the glass but that would have likely killed her.

Anyway, this episode was pretty weak. Tryese needs constant midol. Glen & co. go fishing and waste screen time. Maggie babysits an unconscious guy and another on self-imposed timeout while wasting screen time. Dawn for some reason chooses to give the drug-locker key to a girl she just beat the crap out of because she is "strong." If she was strong, then why give her more power because you already made her your enemy when you gave her that facial scar.

The writers mailed this one in. If only we could get back to the days of the 360 degree van flip...

I didn't consider it a waste to see how the DC people were struggling/dealing with the news that the "mission" they believed in and that was giving them hope was now over--plus I did want to know if Eugene was dead. The preacher is a weird story but it wasn't like they spent 20 minutes on it.

I'm very upset that churchlady zombie didn't eat the preacher. On the hierarchy of useless characters, I'd put him below Eugene. Eugene's at least got sense enough to stay with people who can protect him.

Preacher has god. So far he's done just fine.

Good grief, the episode was fine. Yeah, the Sasha/Bob thing was totally predictable, and the Dodge Magnum bullet-proof glass laughable, but that's WD.

I didn't think the DC group was a waste of time. Abraham decided he wants to live and he will be a BAMF in episodes to come. Rick seems to be turning cold blooded and I'm not sure I like it. But it's better than farmer Rick. I think the fishing part was to remind us of their survival skills. And the preacher has to have protection out there somewhere. I'd guess that's what he's trying to escape to?

Tyrese is being a wuss as usual, but Daryl backed him up and talked Rick out of slitting their throats. He also talked him out of killing that other cop.

Maybe Daryl thought they were cute?

Thought it was interesting that they made a point to say that Eugene taught them how to filter water. Not that I like the idea or really buy it, but the writers seem to want us to know that Eugene really is smart. He's not just a comic book / video game nerd and a pathological liar with lying being his only survival skill- they want us to think that maybe can be of some use ....before he gets killed.

Those are more "red cross/medical aid" crosses than "churchy" crosses.

I think what you see is what you get with Gabriel. He's been sitting in that church, going downhill mentally, until starvation forced him out. And now he sees that his sanctuary isn't safe, so he's losing it. Which, frankly, is understandable.

Thinkings he's part of some conspiracy just makes no sense.

I saw that too. When he was reaching his hand to grab a Z. It looked like he grabbed the mouth before getting the bowl ball eye sockets.

He did put his hands in its mouth while searching for the eyes, but I thought they were pretty deliberate in showing that he didn't get bitten.
